To See... To Feel... To Act...

During my summer vacation, I've purposed to read though the gospels. What I have noticed so far is a reoccurring "pattern" when it comes to Jesus and his ministry to others, especially to the "common people." Many times I've read (14 times in Matthew), "and he saw the multitude, had compassion on them, and healed them all."

If we are to be like him and answer WWJD -What Would Jesus Do? Faithfully, we have to have open eyes, open hearts and open schedules, so we can:
See, really see, who Jesus wants us to minister to . . .
Feel His compassion for the sinner or the soul in need . . .
And act in such a way as to be an avenue of his love and compassion to heal and restore,

Are you free to respond to divine appointments? If not, please pray with me:

Heavenly Father, make me an avenue for your love and grace in this needy world. Open my eyes, open my heart, cause me to act, so that I may be in the center of your will to further your kingdom. Love through me. Forgive me for the missed opportunities and continue to schedule divine appointments for me until I am so familiar with your voice and so keenly feel the promptings of the Holy Spirit that I am faithful. In His name I pray. Amen
