Are You a Rainbow Watcher?

  Part 2....

Dear Barb (or current reader - this too was first composed as an e-mail),
I know you will find the story I am about to tell you hard to believe, but it is true as God is my witness. I went to school the next day and told my students about the rainbows and this is what I heard from them.

They were slow in getting out of the dorm and therefore late getting to the dining hall when they saw the first rainbow!!!!! That was a possibility or even expected, but the next thing was a real miracle . . .

Between the hours of 8:00 and 8:30p.m.,Tuesday -- my students were at the Milan McDonald's when the second rainbow was out and they stood in the parking lot next to the school's big white van and marveled at that rainbow too! They had been hired to work at Wiard's Orchard and had been given McDonald's gift certificates to use after the work!

Doesn't God have a sense of humor!!!!! He saw to it that my students saw both rainbows . . . and it was better than any photograph I could give them! We talked about it the next day - the "coincidence" that we were on the opposite sides of US-23 looking at the same rainbow!

With the kind of a God we serve, we don't need batteries!

Love and Peace,
Lora

As you read these two e-mails, think about two things: What can you do differently to include the regular people in your life in your faith moments. And secondly, who can you trust to God's care? God takes much better care of my students than I ever could. I needed to release them to his care. Who are you hanging on to? Then pray this prayer.

"Father God, giver of every good and perfect gift, keeper of signs, seasons, and His word. Increase our faith to obey and give us courage to release to your care all those whom we wish to serve, but lack the means to do so, and open our eyes to those that you have brought across our path to touch - even when we doubt our ability to bless - that in the end, you may find us faithful. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen."
