Kitten Theology's Top Ten List

My name is Hebe (He-Be). In gratitude for the prayers that brought me (and my worried caregiver, Lora) through some serious health problems, I would like to share some thoughts with you - the family I've not met yet. I want to encourage you with what I call "Kitten Theology's Top Ten List."

10. Show the joy! It makes the master smile.
  9. The most comfortable place is as close to the master as you can get.
  8. Rest. A lot. In a sunny spot. (And I think the master enjoys the peace and quiet.)
  7. Whatever the master is doing, you want to be right in the middle of it - "helping."
  6. "Get down!" is not a suggestion. Commandments are to be obeyed always and immediately!
  5. Keep your claws in and your voice down. Others will be more willing to play with you.
  4. Firm boundaries are for your own safety. You really shouldn't eat plastic wrap, chew on wires, or sleep in the       shower.
  3. Even if you hate getting your nails clipped, grooming is necessary if you want to live close to the master.
  2. Dirty places you can't see or can't reach can be licked with the help of others - if you can sit still for it.
  1. The best place to be is always - HIGHER!

Note: Hebe is no longer a 6-week old kitten in frail health at 8 oz., but is a healthy 14 lb., 36-inch long, 4-year old Russian Blue. He lives in Saline with his adoptive family of 4 sisters, 4 brothers and care-givers Lora and Rene Crombez.
